Meissen figure of cupid supporting a string of flowers. From a series of sixteen; each inscribed with a motto in French on the base. In this insance Je les ramêne. All sixteen cupids were originally modelled by Acier between June 1775 and March 1778 with the help of Schönheit after drawings by Schenau. |
