Description:

Pair of Meissen bullfinches first modelled by J J Kaendler in 1747. This pair c.1870.One bullfinch with head turned to the right is model number 899. The other bullfinch with head turned to the left is model number 904. Both of the tree trunks are embelished with streaks of gold.
