Pair of Meissen pugs first modelled by J J Kaendler in 1741. This pair c.1840.The female with puppy and both both pugs seated on their haunches.

Mark Info:

Both with crossed swords in blue on un-glazed bases. The female pug with incised model number 315 and impressed assembler's number 76. The male pug with incised model number 311 and impressed assembler's number 76. Female pug 7 cms tall male 6.5
