Description: A very fine pair of Meissen figures. The lady looking in disbelief at a broken mirror lying at her feet. The man looking at the scene with barely restrained malevolent pleasure. First modelled by Victor Acier in 1776.
Dimensions: Male 16 cms tall female 15.5 cms
Model Number: Both with F 34
Mark Info: Both with under glaze blue crossed swords and incised model number F 34. The female figure with impressed assembler's number 43 and painter's number 29 in red. The male figure with impressed assembler's number 122 and painter's number 29 in red.
Circa: 1870
