Description: Meissen pair of candelabra. first modelled c.1792. Possibly representing Ganymede a young Trojan prince who was snatched by eagles to become the cup bearer to the god Zeus.
Dimensions: Both 37.5 cms tall
Model Number: K 49
Mark Info: Crossed swords in underglaze blue to both candelabra. Both with incised model number K 49 and painter's number 25 in orange. The man with impressed assembler's number 28, the woman with impressed 20 and 147.
Circa: 1860
