Description: Meissen German shepherd dog standing over a sheaf of corn. First modelled by Erich Hösel in 1927. Decorated using high temperature resistant enamels 'Scharffeuerfarben'. Illustrated on page 40 of Meissen Porcelain Dogs 1875-1925 published by Hugh Davies.
