Description: Meissen pair of figures. The woman patiently playing cards. The officer looking at his pocket watch to see if it is time for his rendezvous with her. First modelled by Acier with the help of Schönheit in 1776. This type of decoration is rare, using predominantly gold with flesh tones for the face and hands.
Dimensions: Male 15.5 cms tall. Female 16 cms.

Mark Info: Crossed swords in underglaze blue and incised model number F 64 to both figures. Male with assembler's number 127 and decorator's number 11 in orange. Female with assembler's number 122 and decorator's number 47 in black
