Description: Meissen large model of a wild boar. The Meissen manufactory acquired the rights to two animal figures from the estate of the Berlin sculptor Otto Hartung who died in 1901. One of these figures was the wild boar. It is signed O.Hartung and dated '99. It was first modelled in porcelain at Meissen c.1903.
