Description: Pair of Meissen figures, the woman passing time playing cards, the gentleman referring to his watch to see if it is time for his assignation with her. The use of the underglaze blue and gold decoration is unusual together with the flesh tones for the face and hands.  First modelled by Acier with the help of Schönheit in 1776.
