| Description: |
Meissen group of sable antelope. The top of the base incised O.Pilz. First modelled in 1911 by O.Pilz, using new high-temperature-resistant enamels which were applied over the glaze and fired at temperatures between 1150 C and 1200C. This caused the enamels to fuse into the glaze creating the soft rich effects typical of this technique. |
