Meissen teabowl and saucer c.1728. The teabowl decorated with merchants and goods on the quayside. The saucer decorated with an estuary scene with barges and boats being unloaded. The scenes within ornate cartouches enhanced with purple and iron red panels outlined by gilt scrolls. The interior of the teabowl decorated with Indianische Blumen.
